ST. LUKE'S Case Study
St. Luke's Has Realized a Significant Return to Date.

St. Luke’s Episcopal Health System
Situation Analysis
St. Luke's operates in one of the most highly competitive health care provider environments in the country, the Texas Medical Center. Their facility relied on a mobile PET scanner two days a week. Medicare reimbursement for their mobile PET scanner was an extreme disadvantage. On top of that, no Medicare reimbursement is allowed for inpatients. In support of their oncology services, St. Luke's was in the process of opening a new outpatient diagnostic imaging and treatment center including MRI, CT, CT simulation, and radiation therapy which created capital expenditure budget constraints.
e+healthcare provided the resources to expand St. Luke's outpatient cancer services to include seven access points throughout Houston.

e+healthcare Partnership Solution
e+healthcare's focused management, educational resources and state-of-the-art technology propelled St. Luke's to a leadership position in their market.
The new PET/CT centers fully compliment St. Luke’s network of physicians and inpatient and outpatient facilities. e+healthcare minimized St. Luke’s capital investment which allowed for the efficient development of these new outpatient cancer services.
